Its Been a While........

Hey,

Its Been a While........

I have now Finished my GCSE's overall it was 18 Exams, so not too bad, i get the Results on the 21st of August, Fingers Crossed i got the Grades needed for my Sixth Form Courses. So i have now Left School! 2 Month Summer Holiday, not to Bad!

Thank you for your Wishes of Luck and messages of Support in the Recent Months, i am pleased to say that they although my Appointment with the Cardiologist did not go well, i have been Cleared by the Docter's as of 31st June, and can now Return to Flying :)

The Summer is going to be a Bit Manic, so my posting will probably be Sparse again, on the 17th of July, Me and 40 odd Members of Yr11/12/13 Fly out to Ontario, Canada for a 2 Week Rugby Tour, which will be Topped off by Playing the Eastern Ontario State Team, at both U16s and U18s. Although this means that my Flying Fund is now running Low, so i need to get a new Job Over the summer to pay for this Expensive Hobby.

Hopefully, All being well and good, I am off to the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford Tomorrow, the USAF F-22A Raptors are Attending as well as the Newly Restored RAF Vulcan B2 (XH588) so it promises (If its not Rained Off like Today's!) To be a Great Day.

Big Shout out to Girlfriend Beth who is Braving the Weather to Come with me Tomorrow - Love You Baby Girl <3

Flight Sim Adventures

Hello :)

Well its been a interesting Few weeks, i've not been too well so that's why i haven't posted.

My Flying dreams are on hold at the moment, pending a appointment with the Cardiologists at my local hospital due to me collapsing for no apparent reason multiple times.

So I've decided to put some more time into the hobby that has kept my aviation passion alive for a while now. Virtual Flying. Using a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 I connect to the VATSIM Network and fly with with other like-minded pilots as well as being controlled by Virtual Air Traffic Controllers. As i write this blog I'm Cruising at 37,000ft above Europe heading south the the popular Holiday destination that is Gran Canaria in Spain. At nearly 1700nm it will take me a little over 4 hours to wing my way in the PMDG 737-800 to my destination, the picture above is me Departing a somewhat gloomy Manchester. I am also a member of a few Virtual Airlines, these are organisations that aim to repilcate a Airlines Operations. Today for example i am flying for Thomson Virtual as you may have guessed by the picture!!

As well as flying online i also Control on VATSIM as a Virtual Air Traffic Controller, mainly at Gloucestershire/Staverton Airport (EGBJ) and Bristol Lulsgate International (EGGD), but also at London Heathrow International Airport (EGLL).

Also, I am part of a team that works to make Military AI (Artificial Intelligence) Packages for Flight Simulator 2004, we are called Military AI Works. We are a small team of 20 or so that is dedicated to bring the best Military AI Packages to your Flight Simulator. Why not check out our packages so far?

Right that's all from me for today, im off to watch Black Hawk Down...Again, Top Gun needs another showing as well....
